Full-Time Cleaner

What We Offer:

• Various locations across Leicester
• Full-time position (37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM)

Your Responsibilities:
As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for:

• Completing all cleaning tasks to a compliant standard within specified timeframes
• Reporting completed cleans to your Line Manager and updating the system
• Ensuring the safety of all service users while performing your duties
• Using cleaning equipment and materials in accordance with guidelines
• Wearing provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) during cleaning tasks
• Notifying the Maintenance Administration Department of any safety concerns
• Checking property reports (e.g., asbestos, dangerous persons) before starting work
• Cleaning carpets using appropriate equipment and PPE as required
• Collaborating with team members across geographical areas to foster a 'one team' approach
• Completing mandatory training to ensure competency in your role

Materials Management:

• Purchase materials only from approved suppliers, keeping receipts for accountability
• Replenish stock inventory as needed and update your Line Manager

Waste Disposal:

• Remove waste from properties and ensure it is disposed of in approved areas, recycling whenever possible

Health & Safety:

• Adhere to all Health & Safety standards, including COSHH regulations

Essential Qualifications:

• A valid driver's licence and willingness to travel within the region and occasionally across the UK
• Competency in using IT
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English

Desirable Experience:

• Previous cleaning experience in households or large accommodations
• Experience working as part of a team
• Skills in managing time effectively
• Willingness to work overtime as needed
