About our Team! Day to day activities
We are looking for candidates who are able to work in a fast-paced production environment with the ability to work as part of a team but also able to work under their own initiative if called upon. You will be joining a department of around 45 people and divided into smaller teams of 5 plus depending on the product line. Each day consists of reviewing the workload with their line manager and following instructions relating to batches of work, for building and assembling of PCBSs onto mechanical parts for processing within each team. The parts being built are varied and require Candidates to be detailed in their work and comfortable following written instructions using computers to access and review the applicable manufacturing instructions.

Cable Assembly, supporting production
As a Cable assembly production operative, you will be responsible for the following:
Carrying out duties within the production line as instructed by line manager.
Ability to work on your own, following daily output targets
Electrical crimping required (training given) previous experience desirable
Mechanical Crimping (training given) previous experience desirable
Lifting and moving of cable assemblies (some light to medium lifting required)
Cutting, Stripping, Crimping and Tinning of cable assemblies
Adhering to the companies Health and Safety guidelines.
Providing total cell commitment and support in the attainment of goals, with respect to safety, quality, cost, delivery, and compliance tasks.
Working towards lean and continuous improvements in the area.
Have good manual dexterity for assembling electro/mechanical components.
Have soldering experience to a recognised standard.
Be able to read and understand technical drawings & job-related manufacturing documentation.
Have good verbal & written communication skills.
Be able to multitask and rotate across key processes.
