Executive Assistant
Location: Remote (with UK travel 1-2 days per week)Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annumContract Type: Full-Time, Permanent
About the Role
We are seeking a highly organised, proactive, and strategic Executive Assistant to support a senior leader within a global organisation. This is not a traditional diary management role — we’re looking for someone who acts as a true extension of the leader, enabling their effectiveness and impact across a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment. Providing a level of strategic support.
While the role is primarily remote, it will require regular regional travel (1-2 days per week) across the UK to education-related sites, internal offices, and key meetings.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-level strategic and operational support to the senior leader across a wide range of responsibilities.
- Proactively manage a complex diary, ensuring the leader is fully briefed and prepared for each engagement.
- Act as a liaison between the senior leader and internal/external stakeholders, handling sensitive information with discretion.
- Support in preparing high-quality briefings, presentations, reports, and correspondence.
- Join and follow up on meetings to capture actions and ensure timely execution.
- Track priorities and ensure alignment with the leader’s goals and wider organisational strategy.
- Coordinate travel logistics, site visits, and in-person meetings across the UK.
- Anticipate needs and act independently to resolve issues before they arise.
About You
- Proven experience as a senior Executive Assistant, ideally within a complex or fast-moving environment.
- Exceptional communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with the highest level of integrity and discretion.
- Strategic thinker with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Confident working both independently and as part of a wider leadership and support team.
- Comfortable with regular UK travel and flexible working patterns.
- Strong IT skills and proficiency with tools like Microsoft 365, Teams, and virtual collaboration platforms.
