We are seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to oversee our weekly payroll operations and client invoicing processes.

The Role:

As Payroll Administration you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely payment of approximately 1,000 candidates each week, as well as managing client invoicing. You will lead a small payroll team, providing guidance and support to ensure smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage weekly payroll for approximately 1,000 candidates, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Generate and issue weekly invoices to active clients.

Oversee the collection and verification of timesheets from clients.

Act as the primary point of contact for payroll-related queries from both clients and candidates, maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach.

Collate candidates hours onto the weekly payroll sheet, ensuring all charge and pay rates align with divisional plans.

Prepare and present weekly and monthly payroll figures to management.

Liaise with our outsourced payroll provider to ensure accurate and timely processing.

Ensure compliance with payroll policies, procedures, and relevant legislation.

Maintain accurate payroll records for audit and review purposes.

Support administration and compliance activities across other divisions as needed.

About You:

Proven experience working in payroll.

Strong IT skills, particularly in Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Familiarity with payroll systems such as Xero (or similar).

Payroll qualifications are advantageous but not essential.

Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet multiple critical deadlines.

Experience leading or managing a payroll team is desirable.
