An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Sales Order Processing Team Coordinator to join a high-performing team in Leicester. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, leading people, driving improvements, and ensuring seamless back-office operations.
The Role:
The Sales Order Processing Team Coordinator will be responsible for managing a UK-based team handling customer orders, commercial support processes, and compliance activities. Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, the successful candidate will ensure the delivery of accurate, timely and efficient service, while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead daily operations of the Sales Order Processing team
Liaise with offshore support to ensure smooth, aligned processes
Manage order entry, invoicing, logistics, and credit control
Generate reports on sales, orders, and KPIs
Review contracts and flag potential risks
Ensure compliance with SOX, FCPA, revenue recognition, and UKBA
Drive process improvements and automation
Support recruitment, training, and team development
Collaborate with Sales, Service, and Operations teams
Support integration of new acquisitions into SOP systems
Key Requirements:
Proven track record in a similar role (minimum 3 years)
Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
Commercial awareness and understanding of business operations
Confident communicator with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
Comfortable working under pressure and managing multiple priorities
Strong IT skills, including ERP systems and Microsoft Office
