This is a challenging yet rewarding role for a compassionate professional committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of children.About the Role:

  • Conduct thorough and timely investigations into allegations of child abuse and neglect.
  • Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners (police, health professionals, schools) to coordinate responses and ensure effective safeguarding plans.
  • Develop and implement person-centered support plans to protect children from harm and promote their safety.
  • Provide direct support and guidance to families, fostering positive relationships and empowering them to create safe environments.

Requirements:

  • Registered with Social Care England.
  • Minimum 3 years' post-qualification experience as a qualified Social Worker. Experience in child protection or safeguarding is highly desirable.
  • Excellent assessment, investigation, and communication skills.
  • Thorough understanding of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures relating to child safeguarding.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to person-centered practice and ethical standards.
