Job Title: Procurement Administrator
Location: North Leicester
Salary: £25,000 per annum
Hours: 08:30 - 17:00, Monday to Friday (37.5 hours per week)
Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent
Job Purpose
To provide administrative support to the Procurement department, ensuring the smooth running of daily operations and assisting with documentation, data entry, and supplier management activities.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage and resolve invoice queries as required.
- Link supplier documents to the internal finance system (Exchequer) daily.
- Create or update product records within Exchequer.
- Maintain and update pricing information in the system.
- Arrange risk assessments for new sites.
- Prepare documentation entries for Operations and Maintenance (O&M) manuals as needed.
- Provide general administrative support to the Procurement team, including filing, mailbox management, and other clerical tasks.
- Support procurement colleagues with ad-hoc tasks and projects.
- Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and productivity.
- Act in accordance with company values and demonstrate professionalism at all times.
- Assist in mentoring and training less experienced or new staff members.
