Pay/Day rate/Salary (salary for perm roles): £30,000 – £40,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, full-time (occasional overtime may be required)

Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Start Date: Immediately (flexible for notice periods)

We are hiring for a Plumber who has a valid driving licence and can work across both residential and commercial projects in the Leicester area. This is a field-based position where you will be installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems, working both independently and as part of a wider team.

In this role you will be working in the Mechanical Services Team to deliver high-quality plumbing solutions to clients across different sectors. Reporting to the Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for:

1. Installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in domestic and commercial properties

2. Diagnosing and resolving plumbing issues with appropriate solutions

3. Assembling and installing pipes, fittings, and fixtures to specification

4. Performing routine inspections to identify potential issues and carry out preventative maintenance

5. Collaborating with other trades on multi-disciplinary construction and refurbishment projects

As a Plumber, you need to have experience with:

1. Plumbing installations, maintenance, and fault-finding across residential or commercial sites

2. Safe and effective use of hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment

It would be beneficial to the Plumber role if you also had:

1. Additional mechanical knowledge, including heating or drainage systems

2. Welding, carpentry, or general assembly skills

3. Experience working to building codes, health & safety standards, and compliance requirements
