A well-established and respected firm based in Leigh-on-Sea is seeking a Semi-Senior Accountant to join their growing team. This is an accounts-focused role ideal for someone progressing through their ACCA/ACA studies and eager to build on their experience in practice.
What You’ll Be Doing:- Preparing year-end accounts for a variety of clients including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
- Assisting with management accounts and VAT returns
- Supporting senior staff with client queries and ad hoc projects
- Liaising directly with clients to build strong working relationships
- Using cloud-based accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks)
- Part-qualified ACCA/ACA with at least 2 years’ experience in practice
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
- Confident communicator with a proactive attitude
- Experience with cloud accounting software is desirable
