Position: Credit Control 

Location: Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire

Salary: £28,000 - £33,000 per year, based on experience

Working schedule: On-site (Hybird after probation) Monday to Friday

Responsibilities

  • Posting and reconciling daily bank transactions.
  • Ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts and payments.
  • Building and maintaining customer relationships to facilitate clear communication about invoices.
  • Addressing and resolving customer and internal queries.
  • Coordinating with sales managers on customer account statuses.
  • Updating and prioritizing the aged debtor report.
  • Keeping detailed records of customer interactions.
  • Reporting difficult cases or financially troubled customers to the accountant.
  • Processing and coding purchase invoices.
  • Reconciling supplier statements and addressing discrepancies.
  • Assisting with cash flow forecasting.
  • Handling data entry tasks such as customs declarations and mileage claims.
  • Providing administrative support to ensure smooth finance department operations.

Qualifications

  • Actively studying towards or part-qualified in AAT.
