We are seeking an experienced Loading Shovel Operative to join our team at Grovebury Quarry during a busy period for our client Holcim UK. This role involves operating a loading shovel to efficiently load lorries and hoppers while maintaining safety and productivity and then you would be working as a Machine operative

Role: Loading Shovel Operative

Salary Rate: £32760 per annum

Location: Holcim UK, Grovebury Quarry, Luton LU7 4UX

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday,6:30 AM - 4:30 PM, (10-hour shifts)

Duration: Permanent role

Start: ASAP (once completing onboarding documentation checks)

Key Responsibilities:

Operating loading shovel machinery safely and efficiently
Handling materials and ensuring timely delivery to the necessary areas
Adhering to all health and safety protocols
Performing regular equipment checks and reporting any issues

Essential Requirements:

Previous experience in operating a loading shovel to efficiently load lorries and hoppers

Desirable Requirements:

Strong attention to detail and safety consciousness
Valid Loading Shovel tickets
