In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a loading shovel, ensuring the timely loading of lorries and hoppers while maintaining high safety and productivity standards.

Role: Loading Shovel Operator
Salary Rate: 32760 per annum
Location: Holcim UK, Grovebury Quarry,Leighton Buzzard, LU7 4UX
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM - 4:30 PM, (10-hour shifts) with potential opportunity of overtime
Duration: Permanent role
Start: ASAP (once completing interview and on boarding documentation checks)

Key Responsibilities:

Operating loading shovel machinery safely and efficiently
Handling materials and ensuring timely delivery to the necessary areas
Adhering to all health and safety protocols
Performing regular equipment checks and reporting any issues

Essential Requirements:

Previous experience in operating a loading shovel to efficiently load lorries and hoppers

Desirable Requirements:

Strong attention to detail and safety consciousness
Valid Loading Shovel tickets
