We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced MRO Engine Repair Planner based in Leighton Buzzard to join one of our clients on a full-time permanent basis.

Summary of the MRO Engine Repair Planner role 

Salary: £40,000 - £46,000 per annum
Location: Leighton Buzzard 
Type of Contract: Permanent
Hours: 37 hours Monday - Friday

Responsibilities of the MRO Engine Repair Planner

  • Plan and coordinate engine repair and maintenance projects across multiple locations.
  • Act as the main point of contact for customers throughout each repair cycle, providing regular progress updates and technical reports.
  • Schedule and oversee all repair activities, ensuring resources, materials, and tooling are available to meet project deadlines.
  • Monitor project milestones and performance metrics to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Prepare cost estimates, review invoices, and manage associated documentation.
  • Support production teams with accurate planning, scheduling, and forecasting of workload.
  • Review and audit technical documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Gather customer feedback and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements for a successful MRO Engine Repair Planner

  • Strong knowledge of EASA Part 145 and UK CAA regulations.
  • Previous experience in gas turbine maintenance, either hands-on or in a planning capacity.
  • Proven background in production control, resource planning, or operations within an MRO or engineering environment.
  • Understanding of Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE) procedures.
  • Experience with internal audits and compliance processes.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
