A beautiful historical boutique hotel based on the Suffolk Coast requires an experienced Assistant Hotel Manager to develop their team in this fine dining establishment. The Restaurant manager will ideally need previous Rosette experience.

Reporting directly to The General Manager who likes to encourage the fun element back into service while maintaining a high level of classic service standards. This beautiful hotel boasts 15 stunning rooms with a fine dining restaurant which can cater up to 80 diners, due to the location of this establishment there is a huge emphasis on fish dishes and only the freshest and locally sourced produce is used. This hotel is easily accessible from the following towns Saxmundham, Woodbridge and Ipswich. A car driver would be essential if not taking the live-in accommodation.

The Assistant Hotel Manager role involves a wide range of duties that include event planning, financial management and guest services. The ideal candidate will have experience of supervising and training staff, effectively communicating with both front & back of house, and dealing with any customer complaints efficiently and effectively. You will be confident in managing all aspects of the floor, including both restaurants and bars, and function rooms, as well as overseeing the reception of the Hotel as required.

Key Tasks:

Complete Duty Management shifts

Comply with company policies on recruitment, induction and training

Deal effectively with absence of folk and performance manage as per policies

Maintain health and safety requirements in all areas, ensuring that the necessary security is in place.

Ensure that all staff members adhere to company policies in all service areas

Overall Hotel operational responsibility in the absence of the Hotel Manager

Propose and implement new ways of increasing revenue and profitability in all areas
