Clearfield Recruitment are working on behalf of a long-standing civil engineering client who are seeking an experienced Site Manager to join their team on a permanent basis in Leiston, Suffolk.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a civils site with a particular focus on drainage and ducting, so strong experience in this area is essential, along with a solid understanding of general civil engineering works.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day operations on site
Oversee drainage and ducting works to specification
Coordinate subcontractors and direct labour
Ensure health & safety compliance (SMSTS required)
Liaise with engineers, clients and internal teams
Maintain site records, reports and permits
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Site Manager within civil engineering
Strong background in drainage and ducting
Valid SMSTS certification
Strong communication and leadership skills
Ability to provide recent work references or referee contact details
Full right to work in the UK
