About the Home

  • Supporting up to five young people aged 11-17

About the Role

  • Lead staff through daily routines, ensuring best practice across care delivery
  • Support the Registered Manager with audits, compliance and Ofsted preparation
  • Act as a strong role model for trauma-informed and relational care
  • Build meaningful, secure relationships with young people
  • Lead and mentor the team, including supervisions and shift leadership
  • Support with rotas, budgeting and administrative tasks
  • Ensure safeguarding is embedded across all areas of the home
  • Step up in the Manager's absence and take ownership of decision-making

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2+ years' experience in a children's residential home (Senior or Deputy level)
  • Level 3 in Children & Young People (minimum)
  • Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding
  • Experience supporting EBD or trauma-impacted young people
  • Confidence leading shifts and supervising staff
  • Experience with rotas, record keeping, and service standards
  • Full UK driving licence
