About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Teacher of Religious Studies to join our supportive secondary school in Leyland. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver engaging and thought-provoking lessons across KS3 and KS4, with the potential to secure a permanent position for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver high-quality Religious Studies lessons that inspire curiosity and critical thinking.

Motivate and challenge students to achieve their full potential.

Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.

Contribute to the wider life of the school and enrichment opportunities related to Religious Studies.

Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and raise standards across the department.

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

Holds QTS (or is working towards it) and has experience teaching Religious Studies at KS3 and KS4.

Demonstrates excellent subject knowledge and a passion for RS.

Can build positive relationships with students and manage behaviour effectively.

Is adaptable, proactive, and committed to continuous professional development.

Brings enthusiasm and creativity to their teaching.
