- Manage fee earner’s diary, meetings, and appointments.
- Handle client correspondence, queries, and billing.
- Open, close, and maintain client files (digital and hard copy).
- Attend to clients in person and by phone in line with firm standards.
- Prepare legal documents, contract packs, transfer forms, and dictated correspondence.
- Submit SDLT forms, Land Registry applications, and order/search property documents.
- Process completion funds, client payments, receipts, and account closures.
- Maintain confidentiality of all client and firm information.
- Organise post, filing, photocopying, scanning, emails, and faxes.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations.
- Undertake other reasonable duties as required.
- Previous experience working as a Legal Assistant/Secretary
- Experience working within commercial property is essential.
- Great communication skills and an ability to work well with others
- Ability to work under time constraints and prioritise work load
- Able to handle sensitive matters discreetly
- Good organisation skills with a methodical approach
- Self-motivated and proactive
