A terrific opportunity has arisen for a Tool Setter with a global first tier automotive supplier based in the midlands. The Tool Setter will be joining a dynamic, progressive and slick organisation that has a glowing reputation within the automotive arena.

The Tool Setter will be required to carry out Tool Changes on all Injection Mould Machinery and provide technical support as and when needed.

Further responsibilities include:

*Ensuring Tool availability, including Jigs/Fixtures ready for production.
*Ensuring that all moulding machines are running to their optimum settings.

*SMED activities to make tool changing more efficient

*Play an active role in TPM and Kaizen activities

*Working with other technicians when problems arise to brain storm and trouble shoot.

The successful Tool Setter will have proven experience of operating in a high volume automotive, manufacturing environment, with a track record in production/process improvements within Injection Moulding.

Ideally, Tool Setters will have solid experience of quality related issues and being NVQ/City & Guilds trained in Advanced Polymer Processing. If you believe you have the required skills and experience please apply now! This is an opportunity not to be missed!
