Our client is seeking a passionate and dedicated Review, Retention and Disposal Officer to join their Professional Standards Department in Nettleham. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the public services sector and ensure the effective management of police information.

About the Role:As a Review, Retention and Disposal Officer, you will be at the forefront of managing police information in accordance with the Management of Police Information (MoPI) guidelines. Your role will involve:

  • Interrogating the Centurion database and paper files to review all information.
  • Making informed decisions regarding the retention or disposal of data.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to ensure accuracy and reliability of information.
  • Documenting decision-making processes in line with best practises.
  • Providing support to other areas of the department during peak times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • analyse data to uphold compliance with PSD MoPI guidance.
  • Ensure the accuracy of information within Centurion and Crimson databases.
  • Identify and amend duplicate or inaccurate information to maintain integrity.
  • Assist in the development of strategies to enhance data management practises.

  • Proven experience in collating, analysing, and evaluating information (Essential).
