Technical Sales & Demonstration Manager | Agriculture
Location: Lincolnshire, East Midlands
Role Purpose:We are seeking an ambitious and technically skilled Specialist Technical Sales Manager to join the UKs leading supplier of agricultural & construction machinery. You will play a critical role in delivering expert sales and technical support for cutting-edge machinery, combining hands-on field knowledge with the latest advancements in Agri-Tech and precision farming across the UK & Ireland.
Salary: Competitive, + Uncapped Commission, Company Car & Fuel Card

Key Responsibilities:
- Promote and sell a specialist range of farming machinery and technology.
- Demonstrate machinery performance in-field and consult customers on advanced systems integration.
- Provide technical guidance and after-sales support to customers and the wider sales team.
- Prepare accurate and compelling sales quotations, proposals, and ROI-based presentations.
- Monitor industry trends and identify new opportunities for innovative Agri-Tech solutions.
- Attend shows, demonstrations, and training events to stay ahead of market developments.
- Support service teams with diagnostic feedback and operational insights.
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Regular travel throughout the UK and Ireland, with occasional international travel.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in agricultural machinery sales or technical product support, ideally in the vegetable crop sector.
- Strong mechanical and operational knowledge of vegetable-specific equipment.
- Familiarity with modern precision farming technologies.
- Confident in conducting live equipment demonstrations and on-farm consultations.
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to convert enquiries into closed sales.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- High attention to detail in preparing quotes and negotiating deals.
- Self-starter attitude with excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Additional Information:
- Start Date: Immediate, subject to notice period
- Hours: 42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday (8am to 5:30pm)
- Contract: Permanent, Full Time
