Senior Tax Manager - Media

Midtown New York – Hybrid working

$160k - $200k + bonus

Talentedge are proud to be exclusively partnering with the New York division of a PE backed, global media business on a newly created opportunity within their expanding tax function. It’s fair to say that we know the business well, having successfully placed a significant number of people into their UK finance team.

As US Senior Tax Manager, you will be responsible for a mixture of compliance and advisory work, across a range of Federal Tax, State, and International Taxes.

Responsibilities:

    • Ensure that all entities meet their compliance requirements and obligations for US Corporate and Partnership Taxes, State Income Taxes, and remittance obligations
    • Maintain schedule of tax filing obligations
    • Support the preparation of Tax Provisions (ASC 740)
    • Lead tax audits, inquiries, and correspondence from tax authorities
    • Prepare quarterly and annual estimated tax payments and ensure timely filings and remittances
    • Provide advisory support on potential projects which may include Corporate restructuring projects & M&A transactions
    • Continually seek opportunities to automate manual processes as well as reduce the reliance on outsourced partners

Profile:

    • Big 4 CPA qualified
    • Energetic self-starter who is able to work autonomously. Happy rolling your sleeves up & getting your hands dirty
    • Confident business partnering with and managing the relationship with external advisors
    • Strong background in advisory and compliance
    • Highly experienced with US Federal Corporate and Partnership Taxes
