Recognised in the Legal 500 for their expertise in Clinical Negligence, the firm is now seeking a Claimant Clinical Negligence Solicitor to join their growing team of dedicated legal professionals.

The Role

You’ll work closely with an experienced Partner on complex Multi-Track clinical negligence cases, such as:

  • Birth injury claims

  • Brain and spinal injuries

  • Delayed diagnoses of cancer

  • Surgical and medical negligence claims

You will also be responsible for managing your own caseload from inception to resolution, across all procedural tracks.

This role suits a confident, structured, and proactive individual with practical experience in:

  • Funding arrangements (CFAs, BTE, ATE)

  • The Clinical Negligence Protocol and CPR

  • Reviewing medical records and imaging

  • Instructing experts and counsel

  • Conducting ADR

  • Awareness of current fixed cost reforms

You will also support the department’s business development strategy and play an active role in marketing initiatives to promote the firm’s reputation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver legal services to existing clients

  • Manage and grow your own caseload of clinical negligence matters

  • Collaborate with Partners and fee earners to develop new business

  • Meet fee income and performance targets

  • Stay informed on relevant legal and procedural updates

  • Maintain accurate time records and adhere to financial protocols

  • Ensure all work complies with the firm’s quality and risk standards

Essential:

  • Qualified Solicitor (3-5 years PQE)

  • Clinical negligence experience (claimant side)

  • Confident user of case management and legal software

Desirable:

  • Broader civil litigation exposure

  • Business development experience
