We are recruiting on behalf of our client in the Lincolnshire area. Established in 1856, our client is one of the oldest and most respected law firms in the UK.

The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for anexperienced Paralegal/Legal Executive to join the esteemed Court of Protection team. This fee-earning role is perfect for a motivated, proactive individual who thrives on making a difference in the lives of vulnerable clients.

You will support a wide range of responsibilities involving the routine management of Court of Protection work, working closely with Deputies, Attorneys, family members, and external care professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Open and manage client files and documentation

  • Handle all initial enquiries with professionalism and empathy

  • Complete and process deputyship applications and correspondence

  • Liaise with clients, Deputies, Attorneys, and care home staff

  • Conduct client visits as needed (full UK driving licence and insured vehicle required)

  • Manage and update schedules, registers, and spreadsheets accurately

  • Input and maintain financial data, including bank statement reconciliations

  • Prepare annual reports and assist with court submissions

  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to uphold and promote the firm’s reputation

Desirable

  • Law degree or equivalent legal qualification

  • Prior experience in Court of Protection or Private Client work

  • Familiarity with SOS Connect case management system
