A reputable Social Housing Group in Lincoln is seeking a Damp & Mould Surveyor for a three-month contract with the possibility of extension.
The role offers an hourly rate of £35 and involves working five days on-site or in a hybrid capacity.
Key duties include conducting pre- and post-inspections for damp and mould issues, creating detailed work schedules, and collaborating with the Contract Management team.
Candidates are required to have a recognized construction building surveying qualification and HHSRS qualification or a willingness to obtain it.
Experience in social housing and familiarity with the NHF Schedule of Rates for work validation are also necessary.

The Damp & Mould Surveyor duties:

Carry out pre- and post-inspections to find out disrepair, damp, or mould and make sure that is sorted quickly and efficiently
Create detailed schedules of work using NHF Schedule of Rates and keep records accurate
Team Up for Tenant Happiness! Work closely with our Contract Management team to tackle complaints, write up smart technical reports, and help deliver a top-tier repairs service our tenants can rely on.

What is required for the Damp & Mould Surveyor role:

Achieved a recognised construction building surveying related qualification
Achieved HHSRS qualification, or willingness to work towards.
Experience of the use of Schedule of Rates, such as NHF, for the preparation and validation of works schedules.
Experience in a similar post
