Quality Inspector- Littlehampton

About the Role:
As a Quality Inspector, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining high-quality standards throughout the manufacturing process. You will implement quality inspections, conduct process audits, and assist with various tasks to ensure product integrity. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the success of a thriving organisation while developing your skills in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Quality Engineer to develop Critical to Quality (CTQ) checklists and controls for both New Product Introductions (NPI) and established products.
  • Conduct quality inspections and line audits based on CTQ checklists, meticulously documenting any deviations.
  • Communicate inspection results and findings to the Quality Engineer and relevant stakeholders.
  • Assist in implementing corrective actions to enhance product quality.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the quality assurance process.

What We're Looking For:
Essential Skills:

  • Strong understanding of quality standards and process requirements.
  • Experience in manufacturing process and product auditing.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
  • Basic knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 standards.
  • Awareness of 5S practises and ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) procedures.

Experience:

  • Essential: Previous experience in a manufacturing environment in an Inspector or similar role.
  • Desirable: Experience working with electronics products and assemblies.
