This Accountant position will play a key role in the preparation of accurate financial reports, analysis of performance metrics, and provision of actionable insights to support strategic planning. You'll work closely with both the finance team and operational stakeholders to ensure robust financial controls and efficient reporting processes.

Description
- Prepare monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reporting.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Provide financial analysis and commentary on project performance and cost control.
- Assist with job costing and WIP reporting.
- Reconcile accounts and ensure accurate ledger management.
- Maintain and improve financial reporting systems and processes.
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure financial oversight of contracts.
- Support statutory reporting and year-end audit process.
- Ensure compliance with relevant tax and financial regulations.
Profile
A successful Accountant should have:
- Qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of management accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to manage multiple priorities and work to tight deadlines.
