Description
This is a hands-on, commercially focused role that sits at the heart of the finance team. As Management Accountant, you'll be responsible for producing accurate and insightful monthly management accounts, developing performance dashboards, and leading budgeting and forecasting cycles.
You'll take ownership of stock reporting and ensure that financial data is both robust and meaningful-helping senior leaders make confident, informed decisions.
You'll work closely with directors, managers, and department heads, translating financial information into clear, actionable insights. This role offers a great balance of technical accounting and business partnering, giving you the chance to influence strategy, support cost control, and contribute to company-wide performance.
Beyond the numbers, you'll play a key role in improving systems and processes, supporting audits and tax submissions, and helping the team adopt smarter tools-including AI-driven reporting. It's a varied and rewarding role for someone who enjoys combining precision with purpose.
Profile
We're looking for a Management Accountant with solid experience in producing monthly management accounts, supporting budgeting and forecasting cycles, and partnering with stakeholders across the business. You'll need to be confident working with both P&L and balance sheet entries, and comfortable reconciling complex accounts with accuracy and insight.
Ideally, you'll be a later-stage studier (ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or newly qualified, with a strong grasp of financial reporting standards and a proactive approach to improving systems and processes. Experience with stock accounting, variance analysis, and supporting audits or tax submissions would be highly beneficial.
