Ford Halewood Transmissions Limited (FHTL) are seeking a Logistics Engineer to work in their Logistics department

Salary of £62,593.73 (includes 33 days holidays per year; 25 vacation & 8 bank holidays)

Qualifications and Experience required by the Logistics Engineer

A Degree or equivalent must be attained within a relevant subject

Computer literacy - Excellent knowledge of Word, Excel & other Microsoft office applications

Strong written and oral communications skills

WERS experience preferred

CMMS experience preferred

Experience of reading engineering drawings essential

Experience with manage the change or BOM management essential

Proven ability to work within a Team

Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

Ordering supplier PSW parts for changes through CMMS and liaise with central STA

Understanding changes and their impact and signoff of PSWs

Complete functional builds for changed supplier parts

Liaising with suppliers and engineers to time in and time out changed parts

Management of BoMs within CMMS with reference to the WERS system

Management of current parts moving to service

Attend and support weekly product PCT meetings with central design engineering

Report to monthly Plant Health Check with senior management

Service analyst including planning and scheduling

Service customer liaison

Support in preparation for all audits

Support plant All Time Run Strategy

Support Future Launch Activity

In line with business requirements the role will include analyst functions to support versatility within the department. These include but not limited to:

Production planning and SCM

Spec and Audit

Customs

Inventory Management

3 x 3 versatility

Working Hours

Monday to Thursday 7:00-15:30 and Friday 7:00-12:30
