We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Legal Cashier to join a busy and friendly finance team. In this key role, you'll help ensure smooth financial operations and compliance with Solicitor's Accounts Rules (SAR).
What You'll Do:
- Process client and office transactions in line with SAR and internal policies
- Perform bank reconciliations for client and office accounts
- Handle payments (BACS, CHAPS, cheques) and manage transfers
- Allocate funds, post disbursements, and process invoices
- Support matter management and liaise with fee earners on financial queries
What We're Looking For:
- Experience as a Legal Cashier or similar finance role in a legal setting
- Strong knowledge of Solicitors' Accounts Rules (SAR)
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Proficiency with legal accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
