Key Responsibilities

  • Processing client and office account transactions in line with Solicitors' Accounts Rules (SAR)
  • Performing bank reconciliations for client and office accounts
  • Managing incoming and outgoing payments (BACS, CHAPS, cheques)
  • Allocating funds, posting disbursements, and ensuring timely invoice payments
  • Handling transfers between client and office accounts with accuracy
  • Liaising with fee earners regarding financial queries and supporting matter management

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Legal Cashier or in an accounts' role within a legal firm
  • Strong understanding of Solicitors' Accounts Rules (SAR)
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Confident communicator with a collaborative approach
  • Proficiency in legal accounting software and Microsoft Excel
