My client is looking for a Clerk of Works to join their new build development team based in Liverpool. For this role, you would be responsible for reports, site visits and quality reviews for new build affordable housing projects.

My client is a reputable not-for-profit organisation, headquartered in Liverpool. They aim to improve the lives of everyone living in their communities and are looking to expand their new build housing developments team with a construction Clerk of Works.

Description

  • Regular site visits
  • Completing on site progress reports, ensuring the process aligns with building regulations and contract requirements
  • complete quality reviews to ensure properties are completed to a high standard
  • assess site set up and working conditions to ensure sites are delivered in line with health and safety requirements
  • Ensure that homes are completed to a high standard with minimal defects.
  • Assist the project team with the handover processes and provide quality assurance lists on a plot by plot basis to the project and construction team.

Profile

  • Strong knowledge of construction legislation and experience in new build development process, along with carrying out all types of building surveys
  • Work collaboratively and in partnership with other members of the team to deliver a seamless service to customers, clients and deliver value for money.
  • Provide technical input on the pre-construction design stages and surveys, and input on the development of project specific specification documents.
