Nurse Manager – Liverpool – Up to £50,000
Location: Liverpool (commutable)
Service Type: Small Nursing Home
Hours: Full-time – 40 hours per week

Amber Mace is currently recruiting for an experienced Nurse Manager to join a warm and welcoming nursing home situated near Liverpool. This charming and well-regarded home provides exceptional care for older adults, including those living with dementia.

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Nurse Manager who can lead with confidence, inspire their team, and maintain the highest standards of clinical and person-centred care. You will take full operational responsibility for the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring both compliance and excellence in all areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the overall management and daily operations of the home
  • Lead and support the team to deliver high-quality nursing and residential care
  • Ensure all staff receive effective induction, supervision, and ongoing development
  • Comply with NMC guidelines and uphold CQC standards at all times
  • Promote a positive, safe, and homely environment for residents and staff
  • Maintain robust clinical governance, and continuously audit care practices
  • Be a visible and approachable leader, providing support and guidance to both nursing and care teams

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse (NMC PIN required)
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Home Manager or in a similar senior role within a care setting
  • Sound knowledge of CQC legislation and regulatory compliance
  • Experience managing care for older people and individuals with dementia
  • RMA/NVQ Level 5 or equivalent in Health and Social Care Management
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
  • Strong understanding of quality assurance and person-centred care
  • Confident in managing budgets, staffing, and marketing the service effectively
