Payroll Analyst North Liverpool Up to £35k (12month Fix Term Contract)
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a well-known and successful organisation based in North Liverpool. Seeking a Payroll Analyst to support the HR and Payroll Team.
Duties include but not limited to:
- Processing weekly payroll with a right first-time approach
- Ensuring all hours and absences are imported correctly from Time and Attendance system to the payroll system, performing checks and correcting any discrepancies ahead of running payroll
- Analysing pre-payroll reports and reconciling discrepancies ahead of preparing final payroll authorisation
- Reconciling flexible benefit provider selections and resolving any weekly benefit issues that may occur
- Manage own and assigned payroll query emails
- Monitoring weekly payroll mailbox ensuring all emails are responded to in a timely manner
- Ensure weekly hours are collated and processed in line with deadlines
- Liaise with wider payroll team to ensure weekly payroll information, including overtime and flexible benefit adjustments are submitted error free and is right first time
- Fully up to date and knowledgeable of all Company policies and procedures to deliver the highest standards of payroll advice to employees
The Successful candidate will need to have:
- Knowledge of SAP payroll (essential)
- Previous experience of working within a payroll environment
- Ability to work under pressure with changing priorities
- Knowledge of Microsoft packages, particularly Excel
- Effective diary management, planning and organising
- Strong attention to detail
