Audit Assistant Manager

Overview:

LHH is delighted to be partnering with a highly respected firm in Liverpool that is currently seeking an experienced Audit Assistant Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated professional to join a dynamic team and contribute to high-quality client work in a supportive and growth-focused environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Leading on-site audit teams and communicating findings directly to managers and partners.
  • Preparing financial statements, including consolidated accounts, as well as developing forecast models, business plans, internal control reports, financial due diligence, and handling other ad hoc assignments as required.
  • Identifying client needs and providing informed recommendations on complex technical issues.
  • Managing budgets and tracking the financial performance of audits and related projects, with a focus on maximising recoverable rates.
  • Developing strong working relationships with client personnel and representing the firm in a professional manner.
  • Supervising, mentoring, and supporting the development of junior staff, both on client sites and within the office.

Requirements:

  • ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent).
  • Previous experience within a practice.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills with a proven ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
