Purchase Ledger Supervisor
Liverpool - Hybrid Following Training
Up to £35,000 DOE
I'm delighted to be partnered with a professional services firm based in central Liverpool in their search for a Purchase Ledger Supervisor. Reporting into the department manager, you will be assisting with the day-to-day management of a team of 20+ and will hold responsibility for a large portion of the Accounts Payable function.
This role will be predominantly focused on day-to-day management of the team - my client is looking for somebody with great leadership skills who can train and develop a team and create a fantastic working environment.

Key duties of this role include:
- Overall accountability for the processing of large volumes of transactions
- Overall accountability for the reconciliations of supplier statements
- Allocation of work across the team
- First initial point of contact for the team re: absences, annual leave, disciplinaries etc.
- Overall management of payment runs
- All mandatory training

- Has excellent Excel skills
- Previous experience in a similar role and proof of leadership
