Our client, an SME based in Wirral, is seeking a temporary Finance Manager to oversee a small accounts team.
The role requires a QBE or Qualified accountant with experience in an SME environment and the ability to start immediately.
Key responsibilities include managing accounts, payroll, month-end close, and advising senior management on financial data.

Your new companyOur client is an SME company based in Wirral.They are a successful £5 million Turnover business which has a strong customer base and growth plans.Due to a vacancy for a key member of staff they wish to recruit a temporary Finance Manager.Your new roleAs Finance Manager you will be responsible for overseeing a small accounts team and ensuring the timely production of accurate financial data.- Management Accounts (SAGE)- Payroll (SAGE payroll)- Month end close- Oversee Ap / Ar and review reconciliations- Advise senior management on financial data and challenge variances to budget.What you'll need to succeedWe are looking for a QBE or Qualified accountant who is immediately available and who has worked in an SME environment.You should be able to deliver the broad suite of finance manager duties.You must be able to start at very short notice if appointed.What you'll get in returnIn addition to a competitive rate of pay, you will also be working with a talented team.
