Assistant Accountant - Tax | Permanent |up to £35,000 | Merseyside

Client:Castlefield Recruitment are working with a public sector organisation in Merseyside in order to appoint a Tax Assistant Accountant to their growing and busy team. The role will offer hybrid working as well as other excellent employee benefits.

Duties will include:

Producing accurate data for VAT, CIS and corporation tax returns
Assisting with tac compliance for the organisation – VAT, CIS and corporation tax
Assisting with submitting annual tax computations
Living and working with wider team to provide accurate tax advice
Impacting and implementing continuous improvement to financial controls, policies and procedures

The successful candidate:

Experience working in a Tax position previously is essential (minimum 2 years)
Experience working within public sector is highly desirable (Charity, Local Government, NHS, Education, Not-for-profit, Social Housing)
Part-qualified, AAT or equivalent
