The Role

We’re looking for a skilled Kitchen Supervisor to be part of the launch team for Black Cat Club, a brand-new entertainment venue coming soon to Liverpool city centre.

You will  play a key role in getting our kitchen up and running – helping to build a strong team, set high standards and deliver great food from day one. From daily prep to managing service and ensuring food safety, you will help lay the foundations for a smooth and successful kitchen operation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook high-quality dishes to the standards expected.
  • Work closely with the General Manager and management team to ensure a smooth operation.
  • Maintaining cleanliness, safety, and hygiene standards in the kitchen.
  • Support your colleagues and ensure service runs efficiently.
  • Contribute to maintaining stock levels and managing supplies.
  • Deliver food in a timely manner while maintaining quality and consistency.
  • Due diligence - food safety, record keeping, managing wastage and stock taking.

Black Cat Club is set to become one of Liverpool’s most exciting new venues – opening soon in the heart of the city. Combining live sports, music, and interactive gaming in a high-energy setting, the venue will feature large screens, push-button service, and immersive games like darts and shuffleboard. The kitchen will serve a bold, fresh menu made with top-quality ingredients – all designed to match the energy of the venue.

The Person

  • At least 3 years of kitchen supervisory/management experience in a fresh food environment
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain high standards
  • A team player with excellent attention to detail
  • Ambitious and eager to contribute to the success of the business
  • Legal right to work in the UK without restrictions
  • Exceptional leadership, including high levels of interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work confidently and consistently to the highest standards with excellent attention to detail.
  • Drive and determination to achieve performance and standards, both operationally and customer focused.
  • Strong financial and organisational skills.
  • Being fully conversant with and have responsibility for all relevant legislation, including food hygiene, HACCP and COSHH.
