Head of Conveyancing

My client seeks an enthusiastic leader who brings expertise to the team and contributes to their ongoing success.

Lead, train, and supervise the Property Team across key areas, including sale and purchase, remortgage, transfer of equity, and equity release, ensuring high-quality legal services delivery to internal and external clients.

Drive operational, financial, and client service excellence, maintaining performance standards that align with the firm’s strategic goals.

Play a pivotal role in departmental and firm-wide success by fostering effective business development, overseeing case intake, and contributing to overall growth and performance.

Duties:

  • Oversee case supervision for all property fee earners, conducting monthly file reviews, daily supervision, discussions, and problem resolution in line with SRA, Lexcel, and CQS standards.
  • Provide technical and professional guidance, supervision, and advice to members of the property team.
  • Offer strategic input and guidance to support the firm in retaining Lexcel and CQS accreditation.
  • Ensure departmental compliance with Lexcel, CQS, and Proclaim standards by maintaining and regularly updating templates and precedent documents.
  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives to maximise efficiency in case management, fee recovery, and overall client service excellence within the property team.

Location: Merseyside

Salary: up to £70K

Holidays: 25 days plus bank holidays and Christmas shutdown

Working Pattern: Hybrid working
