We are seeking a highly motivated Paralegal to join our clients Serious and Catastrophic Injury team. This role involves providing essential support to a senior solicitor handling high-value, complex personal injury claims. It is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a genuine interest in serious injury litigation who are looking to advance their legal careers within a diligent and supportive environment.

Day-to-Day of the Role:
  • Assist the senior solicitor with the management of a caseload of complex serious injury claims, including brain, spinal, amputation, and polytrauma cases.
  • Draft legal documents such as witness statements, instructions to counsel, schedules of loss, and correspondence.
  • Conduct legal research and assist in the preparation of case strategies.
  • Liaise professionally and empathetically with clients, experts, counsel, insurers, and third parties.
  • Prepare and organise case files, disclosure documents, trial bundles, and other necessary documentation.
  • Attend client meetings, conferences with counsel, and court hearings as appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date case management records, ensuring compliance with both internal and external policies and procedures.
  • Provide general administrative support to the senior solicitor as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a personal injury or serious injury legal environment preferred.
  • Experience with catastrophic or multi-track personal injury cases is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Civil Procedure Rules (CPR) and competence in drafting legal documents.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to deal sensitively and empathetically with clients.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications; familiarity with case management systems is a plus.
  • CILEX qualifications are desirable but not essential.
