We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Health, Safety, Environmental, Sustainability and Compliance Coordinator.
Job Overview
Reporting into the Health, Safety & Environmental Manager you will support the Company in fulfilling its Health, Safety, Environmental, and CSR responsibilities, including product sustainability and Net Zero goals. Assist in maintaining ISO (45001,14001) certifications through effective processes, communication, and systems.

Key responsibilities:
- Support the departmental manager and ensure the Companys health and safety policy is implemented
- Maintain compliance of statutory requirements RIDDOR, LOLER, PUWER, COSHH
- Support the implementation and improvement of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certification
- Work with key stakeholders to support and maintain a culture of environmentally friendly practices
- Support the implementation and management of systems to enhance the focus on Environmental Product declarations
- Support external audits for FSC and FISP and Net Zero targets and ensure they are achieved
- Help maintain Net Zero and sustainability KPIs
- Maintain a database on Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 CO2 figures
- Support the sales team providing relevant information on sustainability
- Gather evidence and aid with improvements to better report our corporate social responsibility actions
Experience & Knowledge required:
- Working knowledge of ISO management systems and document control
- Ideally have experience in the manufacturing sector
- In-depth knowledge of sustainability practices
- Knowledge and experience in social and environmental responsibilities in the supply chain
- Experience in chain of custody, traceability and regulations for fabric and wooden materials preferred
- Experience of the implementation of ISO 14001 preferred
- Excellent administration and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise work
- Ability to produce written reports in a clear and concise manner
- IT literate to a high level
