Our client, a prominent player in the rail sector, is currently seeking a Programme Manager (Rail) for a long-term contract based around the Liverpool area. Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing major rail infrastructure projects, with a focus on new station builds and station regeneration
  • Coordinating and overseeing various projects within the programme to ensure timely and within-budget completion
  • Building strong relationships with stakeholders and managing sub-contractors effectively
  • Providing strategic direction and overseeing the implementation of all project activities
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards
  • Conducting risk assessments and providing mitigation strategies for potential issues
  • Collaborating with internal teams and external partners to achieve project goals


Job Requirements:

  • Experience in rail sector project management, particularly in new station builds, station regeneration, or modifications
  • Background as a Senior Project Manager or Programme Manager on major rail infrastructure projects
  • Experience working on rail over road projects is advantageous
