Associate Project Manager - Infrastructure
Our client, a leading physical assets management and construction consultancies, is dedicated to advising clients in respect of the management and use of their physical assets. They are differentiated by our people, innovation, expertise and experience.
They are recruiting for a Project Manager to work on either a permanent or contract basis, based at their site in Liverpool.
Due to recent appointments with Network Rail, EDF and the Environment Agency, plus supporting major projects in the Middle East from our UK offices, our client is seeking ambitious and highly motivated Associate level Project Managers with UK infrastructure experience to join their team.
We are looking for people that have
- Experience leading project management services on £100m+ UK infrastructure, utilities or other complex construction projects.
- Proven experience leading, developing and managing multidisciplinary teams including commercial, programme controls, risk, engineering and others to identify solutions to client requirements and establish a robust baseline plan to successfully delivery client objectives.
- Knowledge and experience of leading the delivery of NEC4 / NR / FIDIC contracts.
- Experience working in project delivery team, either within a client organisation or consultancy.
Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate the ability to lead commissions to provide high standards of service delivery in challenging and fast-moving environments, while achieving successful outcomes for our clients. Experience of mentoring and advising junior staff as well as supporting bids for new work is an essential part of the role.

What skills and attributes are we looking for from you:
- Professional institution membership (APM, RICS, ICE, etc.)
- Significant Project Management experience gained on complex UK civil engineering / construction projects
- Good technical writing, client-facing and effective communication skills
- Well-organised, diligent, proactive, assertive, well-disciplined and commercially astute
- Able to become Security Cleared
