Our client, a leading brickwork and masonry contractor, is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to work on a variety of exciting projects, contributing to the successful delivery of high-quality work while ensuring commercial and financial objectives are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing costs on construction projects from initial estimates through to final accounts

  • Preparing valuations, variations, and subcontractor payments

  • Monitoring budgets, ensuring profitability and cost efficiency

  • Liaising with clients, site teams, and suppliers to maintain strong working relationships

  • Preparing and presenting financial reports to senior management

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction sector (brickwork experience desirable)

  • Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills

  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities

  • Proficient in relevant software and Microsoft Office packages

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying (preferred but not essential)
