Health & Social Care Teacher
Location: Liverpool, L5
Start Date: January 2026
Contract Type: Temporary, Long Term
Working Hours: Full time, 8:00am - 4.00pm
Salary: Paid to scale
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan schemes of work and lesson materials that align with curriculum requirements and professional standards
- Assess student progress through assignments, exams, and practical tasks, ensuring feedback is constructive and timely
- Adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs and abilities
- Develop and update curriculum content to reflect current practices in health and social care
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Proven experience teaching in a UK secondary school.
- Up-to-date Safeguarding training (desirable, but not essential as training can be provided).
- Right to Work in the UK.
- Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service, or willingness to apply for a new one.
- Ability to provide two professional references.
