Day Homeless Support Worker Vacancy waiting to be filled

Venn Group have been approached by a Charity and would like to introduce the following position available

Position:          Day  Support Worker

Location:         Liverpool

Rate:              £16.50 p/h (Umbrella Rate)

Hours:             40 hours p/week (Rota Basis, including 1/3 weekends)

Length:            8-12 weeks temp (with view to go Permanent)

The role will predominantly involve:

  •  Sourcing and facilitating planned move on options for clients where appropriate; in preparing case reports and statistical records
  • Undertaking client welfare checks as directed
  • Supporting service users suffering with Mental Health Issues, Drug& Alcohol Issues
  • Providing front of house support and reception duties, as well as administrative support including day to day office duties; including recording income to the service on the system
  • Supporting clients with benefits
  • Assisting with Support Plans
  • Conducting welfare checks and supporting physical and mental health
  • You must have an Enhanced DBS (Adult)
