We have an exciting opportunity to recruit 2 x Neighbourhood Housing Assistants in Liverpool & St Helens on a full-time, temporary basis for a minimum of 3 months paying up to £18 per hour with hybrid working.

You will play an important role in supporting the Neighbourhoods team, providing a range of clerical and administrative support by liaising with tenants, providing advice and assistance on a range of housing management issues and ensuring an efficient service is delivered to tenants, colleagues and stakeholders across the business. Your new role

  • Providing administrative support to the Neighbourhood Housing team including electronic filing, processing purchase orders, dealing with invoices, payments and petty cash
  • Arranging appointments, managing diaries, planning and organising meetings, greeting visitors, managing keys and fobs
  • Dealing with incoming and outgoing emails, distributing and circulating as required, as well as writing letters and dealing with general enquiries
  • Supporting tenancy and estate management functions, liaising with Income teams to maximise income and liaising with the Allocations team to ensure demand is met for properties
  • Responding to landlord reference requests

What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience of working within a Housing/Neighbourhood Management setting, dealing with customers face to face and over the phone
  • An understanding of housing legislation and best practice
  • Ability to identify additional issues and risks when dealing with vulnerable tenants
