We're looking to recruit a Housing Officer with experience of Anti-Social Behaviour case management in Liverpool on a full-time, temporary contract for a minimum of 3 months, paying up to £22.50 per hour with hybrid working.

Your new role

  • Managing own caseload of low to medium level ASB and tenancy breach cases including carrying out investigations, gathering evidence and preparing legal casework
  • Dealing with abandonments, relationship breakdowns, unauthorised occupation, tenancy fraud and dealing with failures to allow access
  • Attending accompanied viewings with prospective tenants, carrying out tenancy audits, exchange inspections, tenancy reviews and attending evictions
  • Identifying customers at risk of tenancy failure, undertaking assessment of needs and implementing positive interventions or signposting to external support agencies to ensure tenancy sustainment
  • Prepare and serve notices for breaches of tenancy, attending evictions, issuing warnings and other early intervention tools to reduce risk
  • Responding to general enquiries or complaints from customers, stakeholders and local MPs
  • Discharging all legal, regulatory and insurance duties regarding properties within your portfolio

What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven experience of managing housing stock and delivering key housing & tenancy management functions to customers
  • Experience of managing caseloads of anti-social behaviour and tenancy breaches, gathering evidence, preparing legal casework
  • Good knowledge of housing legislation and best practice
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels, including vulnerable tenants
  • Driving licence with access to own vehicle with valid business insurance
