We're seeking an experienced Neighbourhood Housing Officer with experience of ASB case management in Liverpool on a full-time, ongoing temporary basis, paying up to £22.50 per hour with hybrid working.

Your new role

  • Delivering key tenancy management functions such as abandonments, relationship breakdowns, unauthorised occupation, mutual exchanges, tenancy reviews, tenancy audits, and failures to allow access
  • Carrying out a range of visits including accompanied viewings, exchange inspections and attending evictions
  • Triaging all ASB & hate crime cases, carrying out investigations, gathering evidence, preparing paperwork for legal proceedings and working in partnership with Enforcement Officers for more serious cases
  • Supporting customers at low to medium risk of tenancy failure, carrying out assessments of need, identifying additional support needs, making appropriate referrals and implementing positive interventions to support tenancy sustainment
  • Responding to general enquiries and complaints
  • Preparing and serving notices for breaches of tenancy where appropriate

What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven experience delivering key housing & tenancy management functions across a large geographical region
  • Experience of ASB caseload management
  • Knowledge and understanding of Housing & ASB legislation and best practice
  • Driving licence with access to own vehicle and valid business insurance
